SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE.
“I now declare you man and wife.” As a wedded couple you belong to each other. A wonderful comforting thought. That sense of belonging.
I often, nearly all the time, glean ideas from something I’ve read, seen or experienced. Sometimes it comes out of nowhere and jumps on me. I take that idea and meditate on it, let it simmer and stew, steam and brew until it becomes words and demand to be written. (Read: Why do I write?)
Now I own it. It’s mine. Patented. Copyrighted. Published.
We all borrow stuff from time to time. But at some point we have to return it. Bottom line, unless we buy it, it’s not ours. But there’s one thing, regardless of what we do, that we can never own. Ourselves.
1 Cor. 6:19-20 “…….you are not your own. For you were bought at a price…..”
Consider the price that was paid and take good care of both your body and your soul.
Cyber hugs and blessings to all.
