HUGS ARE UNIVERSAL MEDICINE.
To all my friends and followers, regardless of faith, color, politics and any other miserable thing that might cause misunderstanding and strife, I’m taking a break today and unashamedly “stole” the quote below which a friend was sweet enough to share. I don’t know who wrote it or where it originated, but it makes good reading.
HUGGING IS GOOD MEDICINE.
It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift.
You need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenance and twelve for growth.
Scientists say that hugging is a form of communication because it can say things you don’t have the words for.
The nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can’t give one without getting one.
